October 22nd - October 26th

Loving God,

You are the source of all love. We ask your blessing for the families in Indonesia who are living in utter poverty. We pray You that the Your Church in Indonesia fulfills her mission  with joy, devotion and love and that she is able to relief the suffering of the poor and give their lives a turn for the better. Grant peace to the people of Indonesia and let Your law and justice reign there.

We ask You this through the intercession of St. John Paul II, through Christ our Lord.

God our Father,

To all those who know sadness, You grant comfort and to people in need You bring rescue. We want to pray today for all the people of India, especially for those relegated to the margins and deprived of a just existence by social structures. We pray for the men, women and children who suffer great poverty and heavy burdens. Grant them relief; grant them hope for a better future, joy in this life; allow the children to grow up as healthy and happy people.

Through Christ our Lord.

Almighty God,

Through Your Son’s death on the cross you revealed Your glory to all peoples. We pray You this Friday: guard the work of Your mercy and grant that Your Church, spread across the world, stands fast in the confession of Your Name.

Through Christ our Lord.

God of Abraham,

You quenched the thirst of Your people Israel with water from the rock. We pray today especially for those who are thirsting for justice and for people who are imprisoned because of their faith in Your Son Jesus Christ. Grant that they may know that their brothers and sisters around the world are near to them and that they may be strengthened in their faith because of this.

Through Christ our Lord.

God of love,

You raised Your Son from the dead and lifted Him up to sit at Your right hand. This Sunday we want to thank you with joy and gladness for the gift of our life. We pray You that through our prayers and our charitable deeds we come to better understand what our mission is in the world. We pray for all those who hunger for Your Message of freedom. May we find the courage to proclaim Your Good News to all our fellow men and women.

Through Christ our Lord.
