Bishop DiMarzio Golf Classic to Benefit Christians in the Middle East

“It is clear … that the presence of Christians in the Middle East has a dim future. Without major intervention, Christians will not survive in their present conditions.”
Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio, Diocese of Brooklyn

This year, Aid to the Church in Need is honored to be the recipient of proceeds from Bishop DiMarzio’s 23rd Annual Golf Classic. One hundred percent of all donations from this event will be used to aid our suffering and persecuted brothers and sisters in the Middle East, particularly in Iraq and Syria.
How can you participate in this event and help so many in desperate need thousands of miles away?
You can choose to register for golf alone, or with cocktails and dinner afterwards. Or perhaps you would rather be a sponsor of apparel, food and beverages or the event’s program. Please click below to participate or to get additional information.
Engaging in this afternoon of fun will help our faithful in need. Your participation will greatly benefit men, women and children living without homes, without medical aid, without food and water.
Today, 19.8 million people in Iraq and Syria are still in need of humanitarian assistance. Material aid enables Christian families to survive and remain in their homelands.
May God bless you for doing what you can.

“When we have an opportunity to weigh in on behalf of those who struggle … our Catholic consciences urge us to side with those who are most in need.” Bishop DiMarzio

Words of Comfort and Hope

“This brief note is to let you know that we, the monks in Sri Lanka, are praying for the whole world every day from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm before the Blessed Sacrament. And as we pray for the whole world, we have not forgotten you at ACN; you and your loved ones are also remembered in a special way. We pray that the Good Lord may protect you, your loved ones from this pandemic as we believe in a God who is good.”
