Since 1947, Aid to the Church in Need (ACNUSA) has been providing material and spiritual assistance to the suffering and persecuted Church and her faithful around the world. Through our programs of aid, our donors help the Church in need to support the faithful who have been harassed, persecuted, and victimized because of their faith.

Pope Benedict XVI elevated ACNUSA to the status of a Pontifical Foundation in 2011, highlighting the importance of our work and the plight of persecuted Christians. This recognition underscores the critical role that ACNUSA plays within the Church in providing much-needed assistance to those who are suffering for their faith.

To support and promote the Church, especially in countries where Christians are suffering persecution or discrimination. Each year, we fulfill more than 5,000 projects through our spiritual and material aid programs.
