A devastating earthquake has left thousands of families without shelter, food, or medical care. Your gift today helps the Church provide immediate emergency relief.

When All Else Collapses, the Church Stands With Its People

“I wish to express my solidarity, and that of the entire College of Cardinals, with the people of Venezuela… We assure our prayers for the victims, for their families, and for all those suffering… We also pray that the solidarity of the international community will not fail this beloved nation.”

— Pope Leo XIV

Venezuela in Crisis - Help Today

Two devastating earthquakes struck Venezuela on June 24, leaving thousands dead, tens of thousands homeless, entire communities in ruins, faithful devastated.

Today, the Church remains at the side of the victims—welcoming the displaced, distributing food and medicine, caring for the injured, and accompanying those grieving the loss of loved ones. Each day, priests and religious sisters seek to console those whose lives have been shattered.

ACN is providing direct assistance to the dioceses most affected so they can continue sheltering and caring for displaced families. We fund only projects approved by the local bishops, who oversee the distribution of aid.

We have already sent an initial emergency grant of $100,000 to respond to the most urgent needs. But the crisis will last for years. Your gift today will help our brothers and sisters who continue to endure this tragedy every day.

From the very first hours after the earthquake, priests, religious sisters, seminarians, and volunteers rushed to aid the injured, rescue the trapped, comfort the grieving, and bring hope to the frightened.

Many of these priests and sisters also lost their homes, yet they remain because their people need them. Sometimes the greatest gift they can offer is simply their presence. The stories are heartbreaking: mothers who have lost their children, children who have lost their parents, and families who have lost everything.

Here is how your gift will immediately make a difference:
