The image of Mary in Berdychiv’s Carmelite Monastery and Church is a shrine for Ukraine’s Catholics. The monastery and its attached church were originally built in 1630 by the family of a Polish nobleman, who also donated the image of Mary. Help for the Training of Seminarians in Peru

High in the Andes, at an altitude of over 10,000 feet, there are nine young men preparing for ordination to the priesthood. They live in the town of Huaraz, in Peru. Huaraz is the seat of the diocese and home to the diocesan seminary; the region’s Catholics are scattered across 5,000 square miles and ministered to by 58 priests.
