This episode is particularly timely in that Pope Leo XIV has embarked on his trip to Africa where he will visit Algeria, Angola, Cameroon, and Equatorial Guinea. We are pleased to discuss this visit with Ms. Uzay Bulut who is a Turkish-born journalist covering Africa and the Muslim world. In this interview, we discuss the significance of the Pope’s African trip; Christian persecution in Africa; and ways that the Pope can highlight and remedy the plight of these Christian communities.
